About Us

Sankardev Institute of Engineering and Management was established in 2008 under Society Registration Act, XXI of 1860 . It is a non – profit organisation purely dedicated to improve the education scenario of Assam and North-East Region. The institution endeavours to lift the carrier of students of North-East region to make them a perfect technocrat.

The engineering degrees namely Civil and Architecture are awarded by the Govt. regulated institution i.e.; “The Institution of Civil Engineers (India)” and the Management, Information Technology and General Education degrees are awarded by Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciencs (SHIATS) formerly Allahabad Agricultural Institute-Deemed University, Allahabad, and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (In association with Vishnu). The Institute also offers Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication, Automobile, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.

In addition to this, the institute also offers AICTE approved MBA from IGNOU (In association with Centum Learning Limited) in 6 specialisations.
